Automated excerpt

A top CBS News editor appointed by editor-in-chief Bari Weiss reportedly threatened staffers with termination during a tense meeting Tuesday morning that erupted into a confrontation over the network’s coverage of Israel and Gaza. The editor also announced forthcoming changes to the foreign desk’s editorial workflow.
